When and where is the race?

The 2025 Run4Elise will now be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Gateway Church off Blessed Way in Southlake, Texas. Don’t live nearby? No problem! Participants can still show their support by signing up to run or walk virtually from anywhere!

Is this an official timed 5K?

Yes! The 5K on Race Day (May 10, 2025) is a USATF certified course around scenic Gateway Church.

Can anyone do the fun run/walk?

You bet! Strollers are welcome. Run or walk at your own pace! We will provide multiple water stops.

What else is offered at the event?

The Run4Elise is designed for the whole family! There will be refreshments, music, sponsor tables, free event photos, and water safety education. We will also present our annual Elise Cerami Memorial Scholarship winners, as well as recognize our participants in the 100 Lifeguard Challenge. Race awards will be presented following the 5K.

8:00 AM – 1 Mile Fun Run

8:30 AM – 5K Run start

9:30 AM  – Race Awards

Inclement Weather Plan: In the event of inclement weather on Race Day, we may delay, postpone or cancel the event. A delayed start might result in combined 1 Mile and 5K events. Any weather-related changes to the event will be communicated via Swim4Elise.com and Swim4Elise Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

Every participant on Race Day will receive a finisher medal! 5K participants will only receive their medals at the end of the 5K.

Plaques will be awarded to the three Race Day teams with the most registered in-person participants! The team registration deadline is April 15, 2025!

MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE AGE GROUP AWARD.

Awards in the 5K will be given to the following:

• Overall Male and Female
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female by age groups: 0-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+
